Insight Instruments
INSIGHT INSTRUMENTS was the first company in the German-speaking world to focus exclusively on biofeedback and neurofeedback. Our products are therefore not part of a scattered catalogue, but the focus of our range. The entire Neuromaster system was developed directly by us, so you don't have to go through a dealer, but speak directly to the developers. This also allows us to incorporate customer feedback into the system quickly and easily.

DI Dr Dieter Kropfreiter
Founder & Managing Director, University Lecturer
Dr Dieter Kropfreiter is the founder and managing director of Insight Instruments, as well as the developer of the Neuromaster system. For many years, he has been deeply involved in scientific research in the field of biomedical engineering, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of the requirements of modern bio- and neurofeedback applications.
As the founder of several biofeedback organisations, he has played a key role in shaping the development and spread of biofeedback in German-speaking countries. Among other things, he is an honorary member of the German Society for Biofeedback and a university lecturer at the Sigmund Freud Private University in Vienna.
With its many years of experience, innovative strength and scientific rigour, it forms a key foundation for the technical development and quality of the Neuromaster system.
Christoph Kropfreiter
COO (Chief Operating Officer)
As COO of Insight Instruments, he oversees operational processes as well as the sales and customer advisory departments.
He supports prospective customers from their initial enquiry, through consultation meetings and product presentations, right through to finding the right solution for their needs. Thanks to his technical training, his experience in internal sales and his knowledge of industrial engineering, he combines technical expertise with practical, customer-focused advice.
Sina Kropfreiter, BSc.
Head of Quality Management, Finance and Marketing
Her degree in Management, Design and Quality Management enables her to combine a business acumen, creative thinking and a clear understanding of structured processes.
In doing so, she helps to ensure that internal processes run smoothly, to further develop quality standards and to present the Insight Instruments brand professionally to the outside world.
She is the first point of contact for any queries regarding invoices, quality standards and communications relating to Insight Instruments.
Bettina Seitlinger
Psychological Development & Quality Assurance
As a clinical and health psychologist, biofeedback therapist, author and director of the European Biofeedback Academy, she brings a wealth of professional expertise to the work of Insight Instruments.
She gained her practical experience in biofeedback therapy at the EMCO Private Clinic, amongst other places, as well as in her own practice. At Insight Instruments, she is responsible for psychological development and quality assurance. In addition, she advises prospective clients from a therapeutic perspective and supports clients with her practical experience and professional expertise.
Martin Haider, BSc.
Technical Manager, Development
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Salzburg and training as an electromechanical engineer, he combines technical expertise with a sound understanding of the user’s perspective.
At Insight Instruments, he is directly involved in the development and production of the Neuromaster system and, through the technical documentation for our medical device, ensures that quality, safety and traceability are guaranteed for our customers.
Helena Fonseca, BSc. MSc.
Quality management, marketing, development
Helena Fonseca studied psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate level at the University of Salzburg and works at Insight Instruments in the areas of quality management, marketing and development.
With her background in psychology, she brings a well-founded user perspective to the further development of our products and content. In quality management, she helps to ensure reliable processes, whilst in marketing she presents scientific topics in a way that is both accessible and practical.
Through our newsletter and blog, she regularly provides interested readers with the latest scientific insights, specialist information and news relating to biofeedback and Insight Instruments.
Mag. Wolfgang Katzer
Executive Assistant, Sales
After studying international economics and business administration in Innsbruck and Louvain-la-Neuve (Belgium), he gained extensive professional experience in the areas of sales, key account management, business development, trade marketing and purchasing. He has worked for well-known companies in the fast-moving consumer goods sector.
His private interests, particularly in the areas of sport and biohacking, created a bridge to Insight Instruments. Today, he brings his business expertise and his personal enthusiasm for innovative healthcare solutions to the consultancy and is happy to provide you with competent support.
Markus Keller
Shipping logistics
Markus Keller is responsible for the secretariat, outgoing goods and the final safety inspection of our biofeedback and neurofeedback systems at Insight Instruments. He carefully checks each device for completeness, function and safety before it leaves our premises. This makes him the last station, so to speak, that a Neuromaster passes through before it reaches the customer - a decisive contribution to the quality, reliability and safety of our products.
