BÖP
Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists
The Professional Association of Austrian Psychologists (BÖP) with over 7,000 members, is the largest organisation representing the interests of psychologists in Austria and a central partner in the health, social and educational landscape. The association is committed to the quality assurance of psychological work, represents the professional interests of its members and promotes training and further education programmes through the Austrian Academy of Psychology (ÖAP).
The BÖP supports professional exchange and the continuous development of psychological methods and quality standards in Austria through specialised sections, regional groups and numerous training activities. The work of the association makes a significant contribution to strengthening psychosocial care and the professional application of scientifically sound diagnostic and training methods in the clinical and health psychology sector.
As part of the co-operation, BÖP members benefit from discounted conditions when purchasing a Neuromaster system and thus gain easier access to modern biofeedback and neurofeedback technology. In addition, lecturers in BÖP training courses - for example in the Clinical Psychology training programme or in ÖAP courses - can borrow Neuromaster devices free of charge for seminar days, which supports practical demonstrations and training in the training setting. The co-operation thus promotes practice-oriented training and the use of modern bio- and neurofeedback-based methods in psychological practice.
